The Terradyne Armored Vehicles Gurkha is a tactical armored vehicle built by Ontario-based Terradyne Armored Vehicles Inc.. The Gurkha is available in three different variants (LAPV/MPV/RPV), each of which is built on a Ford F550 chassis.
The name is a homage to the Gurkhas, Nepali soldiers who serve in the British Army and Indian Army.

The Gurkha appeared in the 2011 film Fast Five and as the getaway car in the Monte Carlo chase of the 2012 animation film Madagascar 3: Europes Most Wanted. The vehicle was also used in the second season of Arrow, a television show based on the DC comics character Green Arrow. Rockstar Games used some elements and design of the SUV in Grand Theft Auto Online for an armoured vehicle named the HVY Insurgent and a similar vehicle, the HVY Insurgent Pick-Up. It is also featured in racing games Forza Horizon 2 and Forza Motorsport 6 as a part of Fast and Furious Car Pack DLC. It was also featured in Forza Horizon 3 as a Forzathon reward. The Unidad "Armored SUV" in Ghost Recon Wildlands is also based on the LAPV model. The Gurkha was also featured in Tom Clancys Ghost Recon Wildlands as the secondary enemies main vehicle, and also as a spawnable vehicle. The Vehicle also appears in Season 2, Episode 8 of D.C.s Gotham. A Ghurka RPV is featured in Dean Koontz’s first Jane Hawk novel The Silent Corner.
