Alexandria Shipyard is a Egypt major shipyard located in Alexandria on the north of Egypt and on the south bank of Mediterranean. It was established in 1962 and was expanded with the aid of Soviet Union in later 1960s. In 2011, the shipyard was upgraded and renovated again by China State Shipbuilding Corporations China Shipbuilding Trading Co.,Ltd. and the work was completed in 2015. It is the oldest and largest shipyard in Egypt.
